The doctors are members of Fylde Coast Medical Services GP Co-operative. Approximately 100 GPs from different practices in the Fylde share out-of-hours care for each others patients.
Where urgent medical advice is needed, please telephone the surgery and you call will be transferred to a medical answering service. Alternatively you can ring 01253 305895. During busy periods (e.g. Bank holidays) your call may be put in a queuing system. Each call will be assessed individually and the patient either given advice or asked to attend a Primary Care Centre. A visit will be offered only if the patient is too ill to travel.

The Walk-in Centre at Whitegate Health Centre offers a convenient nurse-led service available to local residents and visitors, and allows you to see an experienced nurse without an appointment.
You can be treated for a variety of problems such as minor injuries, minor illnesses, sexual health advice, wound care and health screening.
An appointment is only required for ear syringing (01253 655871).
If you require a blood test please visit the Walk-in Centre before 8.45 PM Monday to Saturday and before 7.30 PM on Sunday.
